Oneika the Traveler is a female Canadian traveler who posts about her impressive travels but never forgets to comment on social issues either. She recently made a video address the controversial Dutch holiday of Sinterklaas and regularly writes blog posts encouraging women, in particular, women of color, to travel on their own and explore the world.
Oneika’s passion for not simply visiting a place but actually exploring the culture is evident from the way she writes.
Pack Your Passport
Pack Your Passport is the blog of Beverley, a female English traveler. Her focus is on solo travel, and she discusses very real solo travel issues on her blog. I only started to follow her very recently, after I read a great post on eating alone which totally resonated with me.
Miss Amy May
Miss Amy May posts about pinup fashion, makeup, and hair, without ever being shallow. She is proudly plus-sized and refuses to compromise her sense of style because of her body type. Her reviews are extremely detailed and provide you with all the information you need.
By now, you’re probably not surprised that my favorite blogs are all run by strong women that encourage other women to be confident as well.
