Are you ready for 2020? As we say goodbye to a decade, I wanted to review my trips of 2019.
I was in six different countries on two continents which definitely isn’t the most I’ve ever traveled. But I only worked for the first seven months of the year and had to be more conservative in my spending habits.
(If you subscribed to my newsletter you’ll know that I will probably change my home base quite soon. Stay tuned for more!)
So while I would have liked to travel more, sometimes life happens, and you have to focus your energy on other things.
And although I haven’t traveled much for a travel writer, there were some exciting trips this year, such as spending a night in the Jordanian desert, falling in love with yet another city on the Danube, checking out the world’s most livable city, some much-needed beach time in Greece, going back to Hamburg to catch up with friends and family, and my fourth trip to one of my favorite countries.
I hope you enjoy these posts and the accompanying vegan travel guides.
I put a lot of effort into these articles so if you like them please let me know. And don’t forget to share them with someone who might find them useful.
Because there’s nothing I enjoy more than inspiring others to go and explore the world.
Travel is one of the most liberating things women can do.
With that said, please always put your safety first. To receive my new e-book with ten safety tips for female solo travelers please subscribe to my newsletter.
As I look forward to a new chapter, I’m excited about the content I will create for you in 2020.
And I hope you’ll join me for my new adventures.
Wishing you all a lovely last week of the old decade.
Here’s to the Roaring Twenties!
Have my trips of 2019 inspired you to travel more? And what would you like me to write about in 2020?

December 27, 2019 at 9:36 pmSo relatable how sometimes things come up! I wanted to travel every month this year but only made it to month 8 – however, still very grateful!

December 29, 2019 at 12:53 pmIts always amazing to do a year round up at the end isn’t it? Just to look back to see your best moments, the highlights of your year. I’m sure sleeping in the Jordanian desert will remain as one of your most memorable experiences not just for the year but in life, I sure loved it myself. Here’s wishing you an even more adventurous 2020 ahead!
