So here goes! I’m honored to have been nominated by Kez from K in Motion.
Kez is a travel blogger who sheds light on more off-the-beaten-path destinations, for example, Central Asia. She has already traveled to more than 80 countries and is still curious to see more. Her blog has been listed as one of the top 100 solo female travel blogs.
What Brought Me to Blogging
I’ve loved writing ever since I was a young girl and have had various blogs in the past. However, it wasn’t until I combined my passion for travel with my love for writing that I created Lemons and Luggage. I enjoy writing about things that I care about – from vegan food to travel tips. But it’s also very important for me to be able to share my views on more controversial subjects.
I currently live in Greece which has influenced where I travel to. And I also share some inside information on what it’s like to live in this Balkan country. But who knows where I will be next.
Advice for New Bloggers
Make sure you love what you’re writing about. There is no point in writing about a subject for financial reasons only. People will notice if you’re not passionate about your topic. But if you love something you will write posts that captivate your audience.
I also advocate for collaborating with other bloggers. It may not always be easy to find people who care about the same things, but it’s worth looking for them. Don’t see these people as competition. There are millions of blog readers out there so there’s enough space for all of us. Working with bloggers who write about similar subjects can only improve your work.
On to my nominations. I’ll just give you a short introduction to these wonderful blogs, so please click their links to find out more about them!
