I frequently get asked where I get my clothes from so I wanted to make a brief post introducing my favorite fashion brands.
In the travel community, there is generally a strong focus on seeing as many different countries as possible. Many people count the countries they have been to and proudly display them on their social media. While there is nothing wrong with that and I also keep track of the different countries I’ve been to, I believe that this sometimes means people miss out on exploring specific countries more in-depth. If you only see the capital for a day or two does that mean you really know the country? That doesn’t mean you have to see every part of every country you visit, but I think that there are definitely some countries that are worth traveling to again and again because they have so much to offer.
I have mentioned before in my posts on zero waste and cutting down on plastic that I have been trying to find ways to reduce the amount of plastic I use and trash I produce. While it’s not possible to live completely zero waste, I think any serious attempt at harming the environment less in our day to day life is helpful. When you become more conscious of your negative impact on the planet you genuinely start to enjoy the ways in which you can decrease the damage you cause.
Let me apologize for the absence these past ten or so days. I was going to put up a post on the vegan food I had in Warsaw before flying to Milan, but then I noticed that I could no longer find the picture of the best burger I've ever had. Without that picture, the post about Warsaw would have been a bit obsolete, so I skipped it. Then we traveled to Milan, so here I am with all the details on the vegan food I had in Italy's second largest city.
I first found out about Seattle rapper Grieves when he put out his first Rhymesayers album, Together/Apart, in 2011. The same year I saw him live in Hamburg with fellow Rhymesayers artists Atmosphere, Evidence, Blueprint, and Brother Ali. His second album on the label came out three years later, and, in August, he finally released his fifth album, and third with Rhymesayers Entertainment, Running Wild.
