For this week I had originally planned a short and simple post on the new Grieves album, but I think there are some words left to be said about the German election results. Nothing new really, and I will keep it very short as the results simply continue in the same direction of Brexit, Trump, etc.
... even if it's a dress.
Somehow I still can't get over how beautiful my ten days in Malta were and keep looking for ways to share more pictures from the trip. You can see a few of them in my Malta sneak peek, my vegan Malta post, and my outfit post.
I thought I'd share a few sunset pictures in which I'm wearing one of my favorite dresses.
This past weekend, I traveled to a rather peculiar destination if you ask most Europeans: Tirana, capital of Albania. Due to the country's isolation from the rest of the world for a large portion of the last century, it is surrounded by many myths, no less thanks to the movie Taken. Albanians are generally assumed to be criminals active in the sex and drug trade, and many people are afraid of traveling to Albania.
I found a decently priced flight from Athens to Tirana on Skyscanner and decided I'd make up my own mind, rather than listening to what other people who have never been to the country say. I didn't expect much, but went to Tirana with an open mind. I was pleasantly surprised and have to say that I liked Tirana even more than other cities in the region.
As I mentioned in my Malta sneak peek, my apartment got broken into the night before we left for Malta. Needless to say, I urgently started looking for a new place. It was a bit difficult to find a furnished apartment that met my requirements, and I definitely had to sacrifice some things, but I'm happy to announce that I have finally moved into a new apartment.
