Last week I posted about my favorite vegan, cruelty-free, and non-toxic makeup products by German brand lavera, but I wanted to write about more vegan and cruelty-free beauty products, including ones that I haven't been as satisfied with because I believe honest opinions are really important in blogging. That's why today I'm going to be giving you my opinion on several vegan and cruelty-free beauty products.
In my November favorites and December favorites, I mentioned some of my current favorites in makeup, such as the Black Pine concealer by Korres and the lavera loose powder. As I said in my December favorites post, I bought quite a few lavera products when I went to Hamburg last month, and, after using them all regularly, I wanted to post about my favorites.
I like lavera because all their products are organic, non-toxic, and cruelty-free. They have a lot of vegan products, but you should check the labels because there are several products that contain animal-derived ingredients.
2017 was the year of some very short weekend breaks, and this all started in March when we flew to Brussels for less than 24 hours. I had never actually been to Belgium before (other than driving through it), and I wanted to finally see the “capital of the EU.”
I’m not a big fan of December despite the fact that it’s the month I was born. It marks the beginning of the winter, and I don’t care much for the cold. The only highlights of December are my birthday and New Year’s Eve. I did, however, manage to do some things and try some products that I really liked in December so here are my December favorites.
Happy New Year everyone! Hope you all had a good start into 2018. I was a bit sick, but that means things can only get better right. This post is going to be a little different from my regular posts as Jaimi from Pockets Full of Daisies nominated me for The Sunshine Blogger Award for my zero waste posts. (Check out my posts on what zero waste is, how to conquer the zero waste challenge, making your period zero waste, cutting down on plastic, and reusing packaging!) Thanks a lot, Jaimi!
The Sunshine Blogger award is given by bloggers to bloggers who inspire positivity and creativity in the blogging community.
